Akihiro Omura currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Thinkie Inc. He simultaneously holds the position of Board of Director at both Thinkie Inc and at NeU Corporation, Thinkie’s technology partner. In addition, Akihiro presently plays multiple roles in leading the wellness tech business at Mitsui & Co., Ltd. He also serves as a Board of Director for affiliated companies such as PSP Corporation (cloud PACS, Medical AI, Personal Health Record) and Raxi Co., Ltd. (digital therapy).

From 2017 to 2019, Akihiro spent two years in India, working at Columbia Asia Hospital as the General Manager of Business Development, which was a Mitsui-affiliated company.

With over 25 years of experience in the healthcare sector, Akihiro has held various roles including Business Development, M&A, Marketing, Talent Development, and Finance. Prior to joining Mitsui, Akihiro worked at General Electric Company, where he was selected for the Experienced Commercial Leadership Program. Following his completion of the program, he held several General Manager positions for sales and marketing at GE Healthcare Japan. Before joining GE, he worked at Marubeni Corporation as an equity analyst and accountant.

Akihiro received his BA from Rikkyo University, Japan. He is particularly enthusiastic about the Thinkie System because he believes that, just like engaging in physical training or consuming healthy food for a healthier life, appropriate brain exercises are essential for maintaining brain health.
